ADDITION, GLOUCESTER, MA

This project included an addition with a new garage and a space connecting with a north-facing sunspace, pantry, and new primary entrance to the home.  The sunspace faces north because of the gardens in back and to prevent overheating in the summer as there are skylights.

The homeowners decided on a ductless heat pump for heating and cooling the space (aka, mini-split) and also replaced their oil-fired forced hot air system with a ducted heat pump.  Along with their new photo-voltaic solar panel, they should have miniscule energy bills compared to before.
